But not really. Vy snowboarded, snowmobiled, and superbowled (well, watched it).
Big Sky Resort is great. Don't expect good Asian food though. Our first night, we were tired from our 7am flight (and I was sick), so we got takeout from Lotus Pad. Do not recommend. Not only did they take over 90 minutes to prepare our food, it was mehhh at best.
Second night was Superbowl Sunday, so we got pizza and wings from Milkie's Pizza & Pub. I actually picked up a salad from a store, so I can't speak for the food at Milkie's. Superbowl was intense though.
Third night we went to dinner at Olive B's for Tai's Birthday. Casual but trendy.
Amuse bouche.
Calamari - okay.
Crab cakes - do not get. It was bland and had a weird consistency.
French onion soup - I did not have this, but people said it was good.
Swordfish - really good. Perfectly cooked and not dry.
Mussels - also really good. Creamy.
Ribeye.
Tuna.
Banana bread pudding with coconut ice cream - ice cream did not taste like coconut at all though, but it was good.
Creme brulee - also very good.
Fun times. Overall, food was good, especially for a mountain resort.
Fourth night was pasta at home night. And the fifth was leftover night.
Our last morning together, we had brunch at The Nova Cafe.
The standard - eggs, hash browns, meat, and toast.
Belgian waffle.
Eggs Benedict.
The Nova Skosh.
Acai bowl - smiley.
The Morning After - I did not know what to expect when I read cheesy Belgian waffle, but it was surprisingly good.
Blueberry pancake - I don't think I even finished half.
Typical breakfast place, but surprisingly good food.
And so we were off. To get stranded in airports, thanks to the snow storm in Boston.
