Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has a great 2017. And great food in 2017.

I've been so awful about updating. But here are some ways I closed 2016:

Sichuan Gourmet in Burlington (really good):

Pikaichi in Allston (consistently solid):

Wu Er by Wow Barbecue in Brookline (interesting, but I need carbs):

Red bean mille crepe cake from Lady M:

Irashai Sushi in Chinatown (also consistently solid):

Tryst in Arlington (really great for ambiance and food):

Koi in Quincy (do not recommend for hot pot unless you're okay spending $18-22 for broth):

Cafe Polonia in South Boston (for when you crave pierogies):

Gustazo in Waltham (really delicious food, they need an alcohol license asap):

Fairy Cafe in Quincy (reasonably priced, great smoothies):

Park Restaurant + Bar in Harvard Square (huge portions, great food):

Gyu-Kaku in Harvard Square (I missed out on all the food, apparently. But always good.):

Pokeworks in Davis Square (so happy to have poke here!):

Darryl's Corner Bar and Kitchen in Boston (really good, but give yourself plenty of time as the kitchen is definitely not the fastest):

Legal Seafoods Park Square (always great):
