Summa Summa Summatime

Post-vacation blues are a real thing, guys. Especially when you come back to work and are given a task you thought you'd handed off prior to going on vacation.

Things that help though? Corner rooms at hotels:

Dinner at Fleming's helps too, I suppose:

Housemade burrata
Christina's salmon
French onion soup

And then when you're stuck at work super late, it's nice to have a place to eat (although options are few and far between).

Some sandwich or other from The Malted Barley. All their sandwiches are served on pretzels.

And meeting with friends at new places is always great; in this case, the venue of choice was City Tap in Seaport.

Street corn dip
Cauliflower something?
Corn and crab hushpuppies
Ten spice wings
Blue crab mac and cheese
Honey and goat cheese flatbread

Lunch at Nordstrom Bistro:

Followed by dessert from Coco Leaf
Dinner with Tai's family at Royal Hotpot

A day trip to Portsmouth during fourth of July weekend:

And going to your staples always does wonders. Here we are at Pikaichi:

This is a chapel that was turned into a restaurant, hence the name Chapel Grille. The restaurant was nice, but food was meh. And it was super dark inside so no pictures of food.
