Monday night was spent at BB's Jazz, Blues, and Soups. And for a Monday night, it was pretty lively. Service is non-existent at times. But the food was pretty decent.
The band warming up
Drinks drinks drinks
Catfish fritters
Ribs and fries
Not a bad way to spend a night.
Tuesday lunch was at Sugarfire. It's just a couple of blocks from the bank and gets pretty busy during lunchtime.
Carlo's brisket and mashed potatoes
My brisket sandwich, potato salad, and smoked chocolate chip cookie
Sooo good. And filling. I didn't eat dinner, I was so full. The sauces on the table were fun to try, but the St. Louis sweet was my favorite.
For lunch Friday, we tried to go back to Sugarfire, but it was so packed. There was a convention in town, and there was just a mob of people. So we went to Imo's for St. Louis pizza.
Toasted ravioli - theirs has a delicious meat filling. I just wish they were hotter (temperature-wise).
Deluxe pizza - really good. The crust is super thing. The cheese is great. And the toppings are amazing.
Great for a quick yet delicious meal.
BONUS:
Peabody Opera House
Busch stadium
One of my lunches at the bank - Southwest melt, vegetables, smores, and a chai latte
Schlafly's beer list for the week
Schlafly's cider
Schlafly's Gumbo - hearty and comforting.

Gateway Arch
